Welcome to Visual Ingenuity, my journey through the lens of a camera, digital translation and painting. The journey began in 2001 when I began to experiment with the digital photography and inkjet printing process. Traditional photographers can exert their creativity in the darkroom; therefore I surmised I must have the same creative control on my digital desktop and through the use of inkjet printing and papers. My quest for creativity and quality was my obsession for a time. I researched and experimented with archival papers and inks. This quest drove me to learn color profiling, digital painting and improve my photography skills.

I learned a great deal about my creative style, my visual sense and sensuality. It soon became apparent this was a true expression of self. I soon learned after countless hours behind the lens of my camera what I preferred to photograph and the end product was simple. Monochromatic palettes, soft curves and nature seemed to be be the subjects I preferred. What started as a visual journey soon prospered as a spiritual path. I strived for simplicity and powerful expression. Thanks for visiting and I would enjoy your comments so please send an e-mail.
